Ysunday? helps youth grow closer to God by delving deeper into the agless art of
exploring what God has been up to all these years, and then
transforming our goals and desires to that end. This is our purpose!
As Christians, we are constantly and endlessly in wonder and awe of our God. We are driven by the belief that there is more.
More to life than making money and paying bills;
More to relationships than hello and goodbye;
More to our existence than coming and going;
There is more to be a part of then waiting to depart;
We believe there is more!
We believe that God is up to something beautiful and lasting, and He's
been up to this goal from the very beginning. This goal is recorded for
us in the Bible ... by slaves and Kings; poets and fishermen; victors
and the vanquished; and by the ordinary and the extraordinary,
Our goalwith Ysunday? is to tap into God's story, then one He's been
weaving since the very beginning within countless cultures, by
countless people, all from differnt walks of life, but all with one
lasting message.
We tap into God's story becasue we want our story to be a part of His.
God id up to something beautiful and lasting for all people, so we wish
our lives to be lived in partnership with Him for that goal. This is
truly what Christianity is all about!
For youth who desire to know more about
the God who motivates us here at MCYG, we provide a program called
Ysunday?. We value the right of individuals to choose, including
whether they wish to learn about God. We will not force youth to
worship God becasue it is not right, and it is not the worship God
requires or desires. So Ysunday is offered to the youth as a place
where they can come and delve deep into the agless art of exploring
God, and see what "more" there is to life.
Ysunday? meets on TUESDAY nights from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at McDougal Chapel. Though Ysunday? is held at McDougal Chapel, it is a program operating in partnership the Bergen Youth Group (BYG). For more information, click on here .
